Dubai Marathon, one of the most important marathons in the world, begins today. The marathon will start from Dubai Expo City. As part of this, there will be traffic control in the city. UAE residents are planning to make this year’s marathon a big celebration due to the covid restrictions in previous years. dubai marathon 2023 starts today
The competition will be held in three sections namely 4 km, 10 km and 42 km. The 42 km marathon will start at 6 am, the 10 km fun run will start at 8 am and the 4 km fun run will start at 11 am. Traffic will be controlled in the city as part of the marathon. The Road Transport Authority has informed that the traffic will be restricted till 1 pm.

Traffic will be restricted from Dubai Expo City to Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street and Heza Street. Officials informed that it is hoped that the roads will be opened in a phased manner from 11 am. Dubai Metro will start service from 4 am.
