Dubai is once again the busiest airport in the world. Dubai retains the number one position behind Heathrow Airport in London. This is according to the latest report by OAG, an aviation consultancy.
Dubai topped the list with 35,42,886 seats, followed by London with 25,06,259 seats. Other airports in the top ten are Amsterdam, Paris Charles de Airport, Istanbul, Frankfurt, Doha, Madrid, New York and Miami. The main advantage was that Amsterdam, which was ranked seventh, finished third.
Meanwhile, the 36th-ranked Miami jumped to 10th place. Terminal 3 of Dubai Airport, which is now fully operational after Kovid’s arrival, is expected to handle 1.6 million passengers this month.
