A special leather-bound edition of the Book of Hatnia, was awarded to the Ruler of Dubai Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum By the rabbi’s messenger to the Rabbinical Union of Emirates Levi Duchman.
The Ruler of Dubai received the envoy and his companions warmly and thanked him for his activities on behalf of the Jews in the country, and the mutual help to all residents. At the end of the visit, the book of the Tanya was placed in the royal library in the palace.
The visit took place on the eve of Yod Shvet, on the occasion of the day of the presidency of the Rebbe King of the Messiah.
“This presentation is another important step in the relationship between our faiths,” said Rabbi Duchman. “We are witnessing a growing relationship between the government and the Jewish community, and we appreciate it very much.”
The rabbi was also present at the reception Mendy Bloat Emissary to Hebrew speakers in Dubai, and Mr Zachariah Daniela member of the Jewish community in the Emirates.
