After a meeting with the education authorities of Nuevo León, Governor Samuel García reported that the entity’s students will be able to decide whether to attend face-to-face classes or take them online due to the heat wave, since the thermometer is expected to arrive this week. at 45 degrees.

Through their social networksthe president said that he had a meeting with members of the Secretary of State Education to find an alternative and preserve the health of minors who attend face-to-face classes, mainly in schools where they do not have air conditioning or have problems with the electric energy.

“Together with the Education authorities, I have made the decision to be flexible and leave it to the discretion of parents and school managers that our children, in an effort to protect them from the heat, can take classes online or from home without any prejudice,” he said. Samuel Garcia.

According to the governor, next week will be “unprecedented and very hot” since it is forecast that between Monday and Thursday it will reach 45 degrees.

They seek to provide fans to schools

Samuel García said that a new program will be announced to provide fans and air conditioners to schools that are not heated, since parents and residents of the state have offered their support in the face of the heat wave.

“It will be something like ‘sponsor a cooler or a cooling fan’ I am going to donate my salary to buy several and on Monday it will be dispersed where there are electrical difficulties so that the children who want to go to class can go to a classroom air-conditioned”.
