Due to bird flu, Rosselkhoznadzor limited supplies from the Czech Republic

by time news

Rosselkhoznadzor introduces temporary restrictions on the import of poultry from two regions of the Czech Republic from December 10, the department said.

This decision was made due to the unfavorable situation with bird flu in the South Moravian and Liberec regions.

The restrictions, as reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the department, include the supply of live poultry, eggs, meat and finished products from poultry meat, with the exception of goods that have been processed. The supply of feed and additives for poultry is also temporarily prohibited, with a few exceptions.

In November, temporary restrictions were imposed on the supply of products from several farms in Germany due to the emergence of a hotbed of highly pathogenic avian influenza. Now the department has updated the list based on the current situation.
