The patrols of the Special Tasks Department of the General Department of Security Operations were able to seize 245 expatriate workers in the Karzaz area of ​​Misrata, after receiving complaints of theft and disturbance of citizens.

The Special Tasks Department said in a statement that its patrols raided a residence for expatriate workers in the Karzaz area in the city of Misurata, in cooperation with the Illegal Immigration Service, after obtaining permission from the Public Prosecution.

This comes after complaints were received of acts of theft and behavior that disturbed citizens by raising the sound of loud music, in addition to the lack of hygiene in the aforementioned residence and the surrounding area.

The raid resulted in the arrest of 245 African workers, and they were referred to the deportation office for illegal immigrants in the city of Zliten, which is affiliated with the Agency for Combating Illegal Immigration.
