The list of those cited includes important figures from Gustavo Petro’s Government, with dates established to appear before the high court. The director of the DNI, Carlos Ramón González, will be the first to appear on May 20, followed by the Minister of the Interior, Luis Fernando Velasco, on May 31. Finally, the director of the Ungrd, Carlos Carillo, will be questioned on June 7.

In addition, the presence of the former regional councilor Sandra Ortiz has been requested, who has been identified by Pinilla as an intermediary in the alleged payment of bribes. Ortiz must appear in court on June 14.

These subpoenas are part of a series of inspections ordered by Judge Francisco Farfán, with the aim of collecting essential information for the investigation. An inspection has been carried out at the Ungrd headquarters, while others are scheduled at the Attorney General’s Office and Congress.

The scandal has become even more relevant with the accusations of Pinilla and Olmedo López, former director of the Ungrd, who seek to negotiate judicial benefits in exchange for cooperating with the Prosecutor’s Office. It is suspected that the contracts entered into for the purchase of tank trucks in La Guajira were marked by cost overruns and alleged bribes to members of Congress.

The Attorney General’s Office has been collecting information about these events for more than four months, with the active participation of key witnesses such as Sneyder Pinilla, Olmedo López and a Ungrd contractor.
