Due to the floods in two municipalities of Guerrero, as a result of the intense rains due to the meteorological phenomenon ‘John‘, more than 44 thousand users they meet without electrical power.
The Civil Protection authorities have requested the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) to de-energize the infrastructure of various regions in the municipalities of Acapulco and Chilpancingo.

Due to this security measure, 44,814 users are without electricity supply.
The CFE mentioned in a statement that it works in coordination with the authorities so that, once the necessary security conditions are in place, said electricity supply is restored to normal.
Likewise, the CFE remains in close communication with state and municipal governments, to address this contingency, they said, “privileging the safety of its personnel and the population.”
