Hundreds of homes have been flooded after torrential rains lashed southeastern Australia.
In the eastern coastal areas of the country, there have been several floods due to heavy rains in the last 2 years.
A state of emergency has been declared amid severe flooding in the second most populous state of Victoria.
Cars left on the streets in the suburbs were completely submerged by the flood. People living in flood affected areas were safely rescued and sent to safer places.
