New Delhi: The Indian domestic red ball tournament Duleep Trophy has started from 5th September. A 2 match domestic Test series is also to be played between India and Bangladesh from 19th September. BCCI has also recently announced the Indian squad for the first Test. All the players of the Indian squad were part of the first round of Duleep Trophy. But after the team announcement, there have been huge changes in the teams of Duleep Trophy. India B’s Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant have been included in India’s squad and the selectors have replaced them with Suyash Prabhudesai and Rinku Singh respectively. Fast bowler Yash Dayal has been included in the national team for the first time while Sarfaraz Khan, who has also been included in India’s squad, will play in the second round match. Himanshu Mantri (Madhya Pradesh CA) has been included in the squad.

Indian cricket’s men’s selection committee has announced some changes for the second round of the Duleep Trophy starting on September 12 in Anantapur. India A captain Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, Kuldeep Yadav and Akash Deep have been included in India’s Test squad for the series against Bangladesh and will not play in the upcoming round. The selectors have included Pratham Singh (Railways) in place of Gill, Akshay Wadkar (Vidarbha CA) in place of KL Rahul and SK Rashid (Andhra CA) in place of Jurel. Left-arm spinner Shams Mulani will replace Kuldeep in the team while Aaqib Khan (UPCA) will replace Akashdeep in the team. Mayank Agarwal has been named captain of India A.
Nishant Sandhu will replace Akshar Patel
Axar Patel will join Team India from Team D, so Nishant Sindhu (Haryana Cricket Association) will replace him. Tushar Deshpande has been ruled out of the second round due to injury and will be replaced by Vidwath Kavarappa from India A. No changes have been made to India C.
