by time news

On Friday night, Kint a bárány (rock/metal) band will start to tune the audience with material from their album, which is expected to be titled Közös EP, mixed with old pieces. Kint a Bárány band is a formation formed in 2016. The members were recruited from Zalaszentgrót and Zalaegerszeg, and have already proven themselves in many other metal lineups. Their songs are characterized by precision and sophistication, disguised as a kind of joyful music. They will be followed on stage by Dead Gray (post-grunge metal). The lineup will be as follows: Vox: Gergely László, Drums: Sanyi Bánfalvi, Bass: András Áldott, Guitar: András Sipos. The founder and primary author of the band is András Sipos, actually the whole thing started as his solo project and this Hungarian metal supergroup grew out of it. As a result, they released their debut EP at the end of 2021, on which each track was sung by a different person. On this evening, they will probably put themselves out there even more than usual, as they will also be celebrating their drummer’s birthday on this day. The previously announced Monastery and Dharma concert will be canceled due to technical reasons, its replacement is expected later.

On Saturday, the evening will start with the band Children of Decadence (A tribute to Children of Bodom), who will visit the Hive stage for the first time since their birth in 2020. In addition, this will be their last party before retiring a bit to expand the show and prepare the next steps. The Hungarian ambassadors of the legendary Finnish melodeath team focus on the early era of Bodom in their more than one-hour show, but they don’t forget about the newer albums either. After a short transition, Manomore (Manowar Tribute). The line-up will be as follows: singer: Attila Bonyár, guitar: László Szabó Hümér, bass: Tamás Tompa, guitarist: László Maródi, drums: Kálmán Kovács. Hungary’s first Manowar tribute band grew out of Phlegethon. Over the years, more and more Manowar covers have been added to Phlegethon’s repertoire, which primarily plays classic heavy metal. The positive feedback and support from the audience was the spark that – relying on the band’s passion for the musical line represented by Manowar – finally ignited the idea. After more than a year of planning and overcoming other difficult circumstances, they finally reached their goal by the spring of 2012, the repertoire was assembled and Manomore was born. After the Hive party, the tour will continue in Germany and Austria.
