Durazo achieves a 60 percent reduction in procedures for setting up companies

Sonora has made significant progress in Regulatory Improvement, moving from 21st to 13th place as one of the states that has achieved the greatest simplification of procedures, reducing 60 percent of the administrative procedures for setting up companies in the state, said Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño.

The state leader said that the goal is to continue on this path until reaching the seventh position in the country. Regarding digital development, he indicated that Sonora is among the top five places nationwide, and stands out for its Digital Government Law, rated by experts as the best in Mexico.

In addition, he said, the entity has carried out the largest administrative simplification in its history. Of the thousand initial procedures, 430 currently remain with a firm commitment to continue shortening the red tape.

Governor Durazo Montaño highlighted that among the most notable achievements, Sonora has implemented a one-stop shop that allows companies to obtain all their authorizations in just three days. In addition, the number of digital services has increased from 24 to 84, with the goal of reaching 100 by the end of the year. Starting September 27, the digital driver’s license will be launched, which will allow obtaining it in a single click, eliminating long lines.

Finally, the digitalization of procedures includes services such as civil registration, school certificates and vehicle revalidations, among others.
