“Once the process has concluded and the electoral result is validated, we have to work, leaving aside our militancy, for everyone. In our case, I would say government for everyone, but for the good of everyone, in strict order of necessity,” he emphasized.

The head of the state Executive recalled that each municipality in Sonora will continue to have the support of the federal government, which will be headed by the president-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, who will take office on October 1, 2024.

The elected municipal presidents expressed their commitment to work together for the good of Sonora.

“I am grateful for the support that the governor will give us,” said Paulette Encinas Miranda, mayor-elect of Soyopa.

“We already know that we have a governor, as he said, a municipalist, always with open doors. I am up for re-election and I have the experience of having a governor who is always willing, always easy to deal with and always solving our problems, and in the next three years, I have no doubt that we will continue working hand in hand,” said Yessica Barraza Celaya, elected mayor of Benjamín Hill.
