The prosecutor’s office of the Kaluga region began checking the state of emergency in correctional colony No. 3, where a convict died as a result of the conflict.
The incident, as a result of which a person was injured, occurred on January 22 in the medical unit of the colony, the department of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the region reported. According to preliminary data, the cause of the quarrel was personal hostility between the convicts. The victim was given first aid, an ambulance was called, but the arriving brigade pronounced him dead.
