During the consideration of the law on QR codes, a scuffle took place between the deputies

Deputies of the Communist Party faction Sergei Obukhov, Denis Parfenov and Valery Rashkin at a meeting of the State Duma stretched out a poster “against QR-fascism.” Today, December 16, in the lower house of parliament, a bill is being discussed on the introduction of QR codes on vaccinations, antibodies or medical treatment for visiting public places. As a result, the deputies from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and “United Russia” began to argue and push each other.

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin criticized the Communist Party deputies for an unfolded poster. “Sergey Pavlovich, colleagues, let’s not arrange a circus there. Stop it. We have not yet begun to consider the issue, you are already starting to weigh it there, ”he said (quoted by TASS). He asked the commission on regulations “to record those who are engaged in illegal activities.” “And then we will ask you to figure out how this should be reflected procedurally,” said Mr. Volodin.

After that, a dispute began between the deputies of the two factions in a raised voice, during which they pushed and grabbed each other by the clothes.

On December 13, an enlarged meeting of the United Russia faction was held in the State Duma, at which draft laws on QR codes were discussed. On it, Tatyana Golikova said that citizens with positive PCR tests and antibodies for a year will be issued certificates for coronavirus, and without tests, but with antibodies – for six months. The State Duma and the government decided to postpone consideration of the initiative to introduce QR codes in transport.
