The former national team captain was absent from the last two meetings of the board. There is no possibility of him attending the next meeting. Because there is no possibility of him coming to the board due to the political situation. If BCB directors are absent from three consecutive board meetings, the BCB chief reserves the right to revoke his directorship.

Former national team captain Durjoy Manikganj has been elected MP from Awami League 1 seat twice. However, he became a director on the board as a representative of Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh (QUAB). Served for a long time as president of QUAB.

Like Nazmul Hasan Papon, Durjoy was a director on the board for three terms. This time he left citing personal reasons. Durjoy sent his resignation to the board yesterday.

Jalal Yunus, who became the director of the National Sports Council before this, resigned first. He was asked to resign from the National Sports Council itself. Then BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon and a few days ago BCB Women’s Head Shafiul Alam resigned.

Another director nominated by the National Sports Council, Ahmed Sazzadul Alam, did not resign on his own, but the NSC canceled his nomination and nominated Nazmul Abedin Fahim as the new director.
