Or, in the event that the Court does not accept the proposal or in the event of a possible waiver of the statute of limitations by the defendant, sentence him to a penalty of three months of imprisonment in continuation of the sentence already imposed by the Court of Appeal of Trento. The prosecution charges embezzlement for the misuse of 23 thousand euros between December 2012 and March 2013. For the same facts, but relating to a previous period (i.e. from 2004 to 2012, for a total of 556 thousand euros), the former president of the autonomous province had been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months.
