Düsseldorf – Your biggest hit is the title of the new mega-musical in Düsseldorf: The Capitol Theater will become an “adventure land” six times a week for 1,000 guests until March 10, 2024. The premiere was on Sunday – and the stars came to the state capital in droves.
PUR’s songs get under your skin: now also in their own musical

Like the songs by Hartmut Engler (61) and his band PUR (nine number one albums in Germany), the musical takes place in the middle of life. The singer wants to send the audience on a journey through the adventures of everyday life with the emotional PUR songs – and celebrate love and life.

The large stage portal of the Capitol Theater in a former tram depot was demolished especially for the musical. This created space for modern stage technology and the set. Around 1,100 spectators came to the premiere evening.

The stars didn’t miss the premiere on Sunday. Hollywood star Ralf Moeller, actress Bettina Zimmermann, singer Max Giesinger and even political celebrities in the person of Wolfgang Bosbach (CDU) came.

At the center of “Abenteuerland” is “The Schirmer Family”. Three generations with all the worries and joys of life, such as bullying from daughter “Anna”. According to director Dominik Flaschka (51), the story should above all have parallels to the band and their songs. Around 30 of them appear in the musical: “I love you”, “Dragons Shall Fly” and of course “Adventure Land” itself are not to be missed.
