Tata Motors has released details including the number of cars sold in February this year. Let’s look at this in detail.
Tata Motors sold 40,777 cars in January. This is the biggest sale made by Tata Motors since its inception. Has now released sales details for the month of February. It has sold almost the same number of passenger vehicles, even though it has fewer working days for the month. That means 39,981 passenger vehicles were sold in February alone.

According to the report, 73,875 vehicles were sold from the Indian market. This includes 33,894 commercial vehicles and 39,981 passenger vehicles. With this, Tata Motors has maintained its sales at a steady pace.
Of the 39,981 cars sold by Tata Motors in February this year, 2,846 were electric vehicles. Tata Motors had sold just 492 electric vehicles in India in the same month last year. At present, Tata Motors’ domestic electric vehicle sales growth is 487 per cent.

These figures make it very clear that Tata Motors is doing well not only in the sale of conventional petrol and diesel cars but also in the sale of electric cars.
In the current year, Tata Motors has sold 37,135 IC engine cars, compared to February 2021. As a result, its sales growth was 38.91 percent.

Customers who buy a car are now beginning to place more emphasis on safety ratings. So Tata Motors is giving extra importance to safety features. That is why it seems that the sales percentage has increased in the current year as compared to last year.
Tata Nexan has been hailed as the best selling car by Tata Motors in the Indian market in February this year. Also, Tata Nexan has been ranked 5th in the list of top selling cars in the Indian market this year.
At the end of December 2021, Tata Motors sold 35,300 cars, second only to Hyundai in passenger vehicle sales.
