DYFI leader accused in Kayamkulam hospital attack case expelled from party

Alappuzha: The DYFI leader accused in the Kayamkulam taluk hospital attack case has been expelled from the party. The action is against Kayamkulam Block Vice President Sajid Shahjahan.

CPM Townhall A branch secretary Sudhir, Townhall B branch secretary Arun, Kirakadavam local committee member Sajid and party member Mohanan were suspended from their party positions. Police have conducted an investigation but the accused have not been arrested yet.

Their social media accounts are still active. But the police explained that the accused are absconding. There are also criticisms that there is collusion between the police and the CPM leaders.
