All the organizational effort of the dynamic test this Sunday will bear fruit on the 26th. The practice and detailed checking of each link will guarantee that the more than 61,000 registered in the electoral roll of the Artemisa municipality can exercise their vote.
Marilín García Barrios, president of the Municipal Electoral Council (CEM), expressed her satisfaction with the way the day passed, without any negative impact, after complying with what was indicated and verifying the gear and the necessary assurances.
“We can say that we are ready. We reviewed the communication plans, which include landlines and seven TFA-type telephones for the 149 polling stations, as well as a messenger for each polling station and sponsors with their corporate cell phones available for the process,” he said.
“We also have the means of transportation for each of the 114 constituencies and food, in charge of the Commerce Company.”
García Barrios alluded to the exercise carried out during this very day in all the schools, in order to practice how to carry out the scrutiny, fill out the documentation and transmit the parts.
He affirmed that 35 constituencies took information to the processing center, and verified how it works, so that the next 26 elections are a real success.
Among the singularities of Artemisa for that day is the fact of having four special commissions located in popular councils in rural areas: in Las Cañas, Cayajabos, Corojal and Lincoln.
Its candidates for deputies are: the Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdés Menéndez, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic; the member of the Political Bureau Gladys Martínez Verdecia, First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party; and Euler Velázquez Cantillo, president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power.
