The Eagles Get Key Players Back for Game Against Cardinals
The Philadelphia Eagles are set to get a much-needed boost on the field this Sunday as several key players are expected to return to action against the Arizona Cardinals.
Nickel corner Avonte Maddox, left guard Landon Dickerson, and linebacker Nicholas Morrow have all been cleared to play after missing time due to injuries.
Maddox, who hasn’t played since Week 2 due to a pectoral injury, has been a full participant in practice this week after the team activated his practice window. His return is expected to provide a significant boost to the Eagles’ secondary, which has seen multiple players at the nickel cornerback position in Maddox’s absence.
Dickerson, who missed last week’s game after undergoing thumb surgery, has also been a full participant in practice and is expected to suit up for Sunday’s game. His presence will add stability to the Eagles’ offensive line.
Morrow, who was questionable last week, will also return to action after testing out his injury during pregame warmups.
However, not all news is positive for the team. Darius Slay will miss his third straight game as he continues to recover from knee surgery. Meanwhile, Zach Cunningham and Albert Okwuegbunam are both listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
