The Philadelphia Eagles are interviewing former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll for their offensive coordinator position on Tuesday, according to reports.

Daboll, who is also a candidate for several head coaching vacancies, previously served as Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts’ offensive coordinator and position coach at Alabama in 2017. He held the offensive coordinator role for the Buffalo Bills from 2018-21 before leading the Giants to a 20-40-1 record from 2022-25.

Philadelphia is seeking its fifth offensive coordinator in as many years, following the departure of Kevin Patullo after their loss in the NFC wild-card round.

The Eagles’ offense struggled in 2025, finishing 24th in the NFL in total offense (311.2 yards per game), 23rd in passing offense (194.3 yards), and 19th in scoring (22.3 points). This marked a significant downturn during head coach Nick Sirianni’s five-year tenure.

In their playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Jan. 11, the Eagles managed only 19 points and 307 total yards, bringing an end to their Super Bowl title defense.

Prior to Patullo, Sirianni’s offensive coordinators included Kellen Moore (2024), Brian Johnson (2023), and Shane Steichen (2021-22).

Daboll, 50, has also coordinated offenses for the Kansas City Chiefs (2012), Miami Dolphins (2011), and Cleveland Browns (2009-10). He was recognized as the NFL Coach of the Year in 2022 and the Assistant Coach of the Year in 2020.
