Ottansattram: In Ottansattram, two children shaved and pierced their ears while sitting on the lap of their mother statue.
Priyadarshini had organized this earring ceremony to fulfill the wish of her brother who died in an accident two years ago.
Pandithurai hails from Ottansathram area of Dindigul district. His sister Priyadarshini, who was very fond of him, wanted to pierce the ears of the mother-in-law of her two children, Pandithurai.
Following this, he made a wax statue with a realistically smiling face similar to that of Pandithurai, made recipes for the mother-in-law relationship, placed the lap on his lap and beat his daughter Tarikasree and son Monesh Kumaran and performed the earring ceremony.
Pandithurai’s mother Pasungili said, “It has been a long time dream of Pandithurai to have an earring ceremony with his sister’s children on his lap. So, we made his idol at a cost of Rs.
