Earthquake in Alaska, magnitude 8.2: tsunami warning

US authorities have issued a tsunami warning following an earthquake measuring 8.2 on the Richter scale recorded off the coast of Alaska. The alarm was disclosed by the Noaa (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) on its web page after the quake, whose epicenter was located 90 kilometers southeast of Perryville, the hypocenter 46.7 kilometers deep. At the moment, two aftershocks have been recorded in the area, of magnitude 6.2 and 5.6.
