An earthquake of more than four degrees of magnitude was reported on the morning of this Friday, May 3, by the Colombian Geological Service (SGC).

Users on social networks indicate that they felt strongly in Valledupar (Cesar), Cúcuta (Norte de Santander), Ocaña (Norte de Santander), Becerril (Cesar).
The Colombian Geological Service reports that the perceived intensity was five points, which explains why several citizens claim to have felt it strongly.
In a second report, the SGC indicated that the earthquake was 4.2 degrees. The epicenter was located in Venezuela, 37 kilometers from Becerril. Its depth, indeed, was superficial (less than 30 km).

In the early hours of this Friday, the Colombian Geological Service has recorded at least four other tremors in areas near the border with Venezuela. However, the earthquake reported after 7 am was the most serious.
