Renowned filmmakers Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari’s EarthSky Pictures and Dr. Sangeetha Janachandran’s Stories Social is also producing a new Malayalam movie. Minnal Murali’s co-writer Justin Mathew and Paulson Skaria are preparing the screenplay. It will be a social comedy movie.
EarthSky Pictures has produced critically acclaimed Hindi films like Gar Ki Murgi, Netflix’s anthology Ankahi Kahaniya, Break Point and the upcoming Harla and Bawal. Writer and director Ashwini, who heads a production company, announced her foray into Malayalam through her Instagram.
Ashwini made her film debut directed by Neel Batte Sannatta, who inspired the Malayalam movie Sujatha. She did successful films like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Panga and Ankahi Kahaniya. Nitesh Tiwari, who made his directorial debut with Chillar Party, which won the Desia Award for Children’s Film, scripted and directed popular films like Dangal and Chichore.
