The countdown has begun for the running of the Pandodecanese Intercollegiate Athletic Games of Pampaides-Pagorasides B’ (K14) dedicated to the memory of Theophilos Klonaris.
The event will be hosted on Saturday 26 October at 16:00 at the Kalymnos stadium “Vassilis Sevastis”, with the participation of athletes born in 2011 and 2012.
Athletes from groups A’ and B, ie. from the clubs of Rhodes and the islands of the northern group, take part in the games. From last March to June, events of this category were held in the form of triathlons of jumping, running and throwing in Rhodes, Kos, Leros and Patmos, to close the series next Saturday in Kalymnos.
It is worth noting that the event was originally planned for October 5, but was postponed due to the increase in tourist traffic, it was difficult to find available rooms to stay with the missions. It is important to mention that Saturday’s games will take place thanks to the valuable collaboration of EAS Dodecanese with the South Aegean Region, the Municipality of Kalymnia and the Kazoni-Kalymnos 2000 Association.
Finally, we would mention the events of the Pandodecanese Pampaides-Pagorasides B’ Track and Field Games:
60m, 150m, 800m, 60m with hurdles (0.50 cm.), 2,000m. streak, height, pole vault, length, sphere (3kg), ball or vortex, hammer (3kg), discus (750g) and radius (500g).
