The chances of a snake getting inside the car are very high. Many people do not even pay attention when they get in the car. Such was the case with a native of Queensland, Australia. One of the most venomous snakes remained in the car for hours without the driver noticing.
He only found out about it some time after the trip. After a long distance, he stopped his vehicle to enter the shop at night. When he returned to the shop and opened the car, he saw a snake lying in the driver’s seat.
As soon as he saw the snake, the young man sought the help of a nearby snake catcher. David Voss, a member of the Gladstone Region Snake Catchers, arrived on the scene. David said one of the venomous snakes in the car was an Eastern Brown.
As the car door opened, the snake crawled into the back seat and onto the floor. David said it was very difficult to find the snake at night because of its dark color. The snake was caught after a long struggle.
David says the snake may have gotten into the car before the trip began. Eastern brown snakes are quick to respond to even the slightest movement. He also said that there is a high risk of death from these bites.
