The board of directors of Eastern Housing Limited, a company listed in the services and housing sector in the capital market, has declared a 19 percent dividend for the common shareholders. Its all cash dividends. As a result, shareholders will get a cash dividend of 1.90 taka against every 10 taka worth of shares.
This dividend has been declared for the shareholders after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended June 30, 2024.
On Tuesday (September 10), Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) said this information.
The decision regarding the dividend was taken after reviewing and approving the audited financial report of the last financial year in the meeting of the board of directors of the company held earlier on Monday (September 9).
According to the information, the annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on October 30 to approve the dividend declared by the shareholders. And the record date for the shareholders’ election is set for October 3.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ended June 30, 2024 stood at Tk 6.04. The company’s profit per share was Rs 7.37 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Net asset value per share (NAVPS) of the company stood at Rs 83.62 during the reporting period.
In view of this corporate announcement, there will be no price limit for the trading of shares of the company on this day.
