From a place of illness to a place of rebirth. In Agrigento this afternoon at the Asp citadel the Metabolè center for the treatment of eating disorders was inaugurated, aimed at minors and adults with eating and nutrition disorders Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder.
Before the ribbon cutting, which saw the participation of the general director Giuseppe Capodieci, the director of the mental health center Leonardo Giordano, the head of the center Dr. Angela Bruno, the Farfalla Lilla association, the civil, religious and military institutions, two trees were planted, an olive tree and an almond tree, as a sign of rebirth and hope.
In the center, weekly meetings will be held with the therapeutic group that will be accompanied on a wellness path that will lead the participants to a general improvement of the symptoms of the disorder, and to the full recovery of one of them.
