Anorexia nervosa and bulimia – respectively the refusal to eat and the constant craving for food – are eating disorders (ED). Still very taboo, eating disorders mainly affect teenage girls. The health crisis has played an important role in the explosion of these disorders among young people. TCAs can cause serious deficiencies and ultimately threaten the survival of patients, for lack of appropriate treatment.
