DIG/ The President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema met on November 2, 2023 at the Palais Rénovation with Abbas Mahamat Tolli, Governor of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC).
This interview was an opportunity for the governor of the financial institution to discuss with the Head of State the economic and financial situation of the country and to present the financing mechanisms put in place by the BEAC to support development projects.
As a reminder, the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) conducts the CEMAC exchange rate policy.
The institution is also responsible for managing the reserves held by member states, while promoting the proper functioning of the payment and settlement system.
