Ecuador, which suffered electricity rationing In April, due to a drought that has endangered hydroelectric plants, the company plans to suspend service from Wednesday night to Thursday to “carry out preventive maintenance on all facilities” in the system.
The works will be carried out in four substations of the national transmission system in the provinces of Morona Santiago, Santa Elena and Guayas, and Azuaythe government said on Sunday.
