Opposition leader Edappadi Palaniswami was selected as the interim general secretary in the General Assembly held on the 11th in Vanagaram, Chennai after the Chennai High Court gave permission to hold the AIADMK general meeting.

Thank you to all those who chose me as the Interim General Secretary of AIADMK. I will work hard to make AIADMK rule flourish again in Tamil Nadu. Jayalalitha’s statement that AIADMK will always work for the people is still ringing in my ears. , I will work without prejudice of caste, religion, likes and dislikes.
