Two apple spritzers are being recalled: There is a risk that the bottles could explode.
The manufacturer Refresco has recalled two of its apple spritzers. It cannot be ruled out that some bottles are contaminated with yeast. This could trigger a fermentation process. The result: pressure builds up in the bottle. “Under unfavorable conditions, this can lead to the bottle bursting. This poses a potential risk of injury,” warns the manufacturer. In addition, the spritzer could become cloudy due to fermentation.
