The Editis group, bought in 2023 by Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky, has entered into “exclusive negotiations for the acquisition of 100%” of the independent comics publishing group Delcourt, the two companies announced Tuesday in a press release.
This merger will allow Editis to “strengthen itself in the comics and manga sector, which has become important”, and for Delcourt to “benefit from the support of a strong and diverse group to ensure the progress of his development,” specified the two. groups.
