On July 10, the “Salmon Summit 2024: Boosting Chilean salmon farming by 2050” will be held, which will bring together various economic and political experts to discuss salmon farming.

For its part, Former senator and current executive vice president of the Encuentros del Futuro Foundation, Guido Girardiwill present on environmental sustainability and indicated that “Chile has the most productive ocean on the planet. And, therefore, we have a chance to help humanity, in addition to generating development for us. That is what salmon farming is all about, for example.” And Chile has to improve salmon farming. Why? So that we can provide fatty acids, omega-3, and proteins to the entire world. And I also believe that the industry has to develop aquaculture of native species.”
