Cheeky, funny and without mincing words, that’s how Eduardo Navarrete introduced himself in ‘El Hormiguero’. The designer presents a new collection at Mercedes Fashion Week. «I am from the town next to Torrevieja and I have been inspired there. I know a lot of people who took the ‘One, two, three…’ apartment and I have done the Torrevieja Weekend so that people can see the wonderful things it has. It is my tribute to my land and my roots », he explained, revealing that he is writing a book with which he has had to look back. «He has touched me to go back to the origin. When I started and was doing my degree, I worked at night as a transvestite and I looked really cute. And that’s why I started using my face in my designs. Pablo Motos inquired into that physical presence of the couturier in his work. “Everything has a reason. It is an artistic expression in which I take my face as a canvas. As a child, Navarrete helped his parents in a wedding hall they had, and he did not lack food. “I have eaten everything.
