Kläbo spoke in an interview with Viaplay about how amazing it was to win and how it felt like home since his grandfather lives there. He saved his energy for the final, where he secured his fourth victory in the overall World Cup. Lucas Chanavat came in second, while Anger narrowly missed out on the podium after being pushed behind by Even Northug. In the second semi, Anger won and advanced to the final. Grate made it to the semis by just a hundredth of a margin. Erik Valnes dominated his heat.

– It was fantastic and it feels like home. My grandfather lives here and I wanted to go fast. It was special to have him here to watch me. I saved as much energy as possible before the final, says Kläbo in Viaplay’s broadcast. With today’s victory, Kläbo secured victory in the overall World Cup for the fourth time.

Lucas Chanavat finished second. On the final downhill, Anger was pushed by Even Northug and fell behind towards the finish and was so close to reaching the podium for the first time.

– It is slow. I feel energetic but we messed up at the top and I didn’t really have the energy. It was tight duels with tight curves, icy and bumpy and I went for the victory and then maybe I lost the place behind Chanavat, says Anger.

Marcus Grate made it to the final, but there the tank was empty and he finished sixth far behind.

– Finally in the final again, but I’m starting to lose the sixth places, says Grate, who was speechless.

Grate to the final with a hundredth of a margin
