WHILE, Waspada.co.id – Prospective Candidates (Bacalon) for Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra, Edy Rahmayadi-Hasan Basri Sagala underwent a health check at the H Adam Malik Central General Hospital (RSUP), Medan City, Friday (30/8).
Edy Rahmayadi and Hasan Basri arrived at the hospital owned by the Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) at around 07.50 WIB. Then, they registered for a health check.
The examination of Edy Rahmayadi-Hasan Basri Sagala was directly attended by the Chairman of the North Sumatra KPU, Agus Arifin and his staff, at the H Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan City.
“This, we are entering the registration stage, it has been completed and closed. Now we are conducting a health check for the prospective candidate pairs for Governor and Deputy Governor at this hospital,” said the Head of the North Sumatra KPU, Agus Arifin
Meanwhile, the Candidate for Governor of North Sumatra, Edy Rahmayadi, said that he underwent a health check as part of the registration stages for Regional Head candidates in the 2024 simultaneous regional elections.
“I, along with Hasan Basri Sagala, would like to express my gratitude for the KPU’s permission to fulfill the stages of democracy, especially the North Sumatra stage,” said Edy.
The former Pangkostrad said that he had registered himself as a Candidate for Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra, at the North Sumatra KPU Office, Thursday, August 29, 2024.
“Yesterday we registered, one of which was a health test for both of us, to be worthy of leading in North Sumatra,” he said.
The Governor of North Sumatra for the 2018-2023 period also expressed his gratitude to the North Sumatra KPU, the North Sumatra Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP), and the H Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan City.
“We say thank you, at least I’m talking about this, not a campaign. Thank you, our prayers are healthy,” he concluded. (wol/man/d1)
