In Egypt, there is a shortage of rooms in five-star hotels due to the “unprecedented influx” of Russian tourists, Izvestia reports with reference to the Egyptian embassy in Moscow.

“The current shortage of rooms is temporary due to the unprecedented influx of tourists from Russia to Egyptian resorts, it is observed in luxury hotels of five stars and above,” the embassy said.

The Russian Union of Travel Industry has excluded prices to Turkey and Egypt up to ₽450 thousand.

At the same time, the diplomats noted that there are many free rooms in other hotels.
