An Egyptian cargo ship sank while unloading cargo at the port of Turkiye. A number of containers aboard the Sea Eagle were swept away.

The incident took place while the cargo was being unloaded at Iskenderum port in Turkey. The crew was evacuated safely. 24 Container lost.
