Egyptian Chief of Staff meets Tunisian Army Chief of Staff

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, met with Lieutenant General Mohamed El-Ghoul, Chief of Staff of the Tunisian Army, and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting Egypt. An official reception ceremony was held for him at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense.

The meeting discussed a number of topics of common interest in light of the military cooperation relations between the armed forces of the two brotherly countries in many military fields.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, stressed Egypt’s pride in its distinguished relations with the Republic of Tunisia, pointing out the keenness of the Armed Forces to increase the bonds of cooperation and exchange of expertise in various military fields for both sides.

For his part, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Ghoul, Chief of Staff of the Tunisian Army, praised the efforts made by Egypt to support security and stability efforts in the region, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance fruitful military relations between the armed forces of both countries during the coming period.
