The holy Eid-ul-Fitr prayer congregation was held in the tunnel adjacent to the South Plaza of the National Parliament. The congregation started at 8:30 am on Thursday (April 11).
Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury MP, Science and Technology Minister Architect Yafes Osman, Chairman Parliamentary Standing Committee on Disaster Management and Relief Ministry AS M Feroze MP, Chairman Parliamentary Standing Committee on Estimated Accounts AB Tajul Islam MP, former Water Resources Deputy Minister AKM Enamul Haque Shamim MP, Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad’s husband Syed Ishtiaq Hossain, distinguished pharmaceutical expert, members of parliament, senior secretary of parliament secretariat KM Abdus Salam, officials and employees of parliament secretariat and worshipers from different areas participated in this jamaat.
After the prayer and sermon, a special prayer is offered for the welfare, happiness, peace and prosperity of the entire Muslim Ummah. Prayers were conducted by Khatib Qari Abu Raihan of Parliament Secretariat Mosque.
At the end of the Eid congregation, the Speaker of the National Parliament. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury MP exchanged Eid greetings with members of parliament, parliament secretariat officials, their family members and local public at her residence.
