EiDF Solar has a new CEO. The board of directors of the group specialized in photovoltaic self-consumption has approved the appointment of Joaquín Galí Rogent, as reported by the company in a statement. Its objective will be to transform the group to address “vigorous” growth in the three areas that comprise it, photovoltaic self-consumption, photovoltaic generation and commercialization of clean energy. Gali is an economist by training and profession and has a solid background in corporate finance. Most of his career has been spent between management positions and member of administrative bodies of different companies, all of them from very different sectors such as engineering, technology, telecommunications or defense. The EiDF Appointments and Remuneration Committee has highlighted its “ability to promote the efficient transformation of the different business areas” and also its “proven experience” in the implementation of integrated management environments with levels of control and segregation of functions. For his part, the new CEO has shown his “satisfaction” for joining a group “that has successfully developed a unique project in the Spanish market, by leading the industrial photovoltaic self-consumption sector, supported by a top-level professional team.” “.
