Eight dead after Mogadishu airport attack – Somalia

Mogadishu – In Somalia, eight people, including five foreigners, died in an attack on the airport in the capital Mogadishu on Wednesday. Two of the dead are said to be attackers from the Islamist terrorist group Al-Shabaab, who, according to police, are said to have entered the heavily guarded airport dressed in military uniform. The airport is located in the highly secured Green Zone called Halane Camp, which is also where embassies and government offices are located.
