The immersive exhibition “Grand Palais Immersive Eternal Mucha” by master Mucha will be held at Hikarie Hall (Shibuya Hikarie 9F) from December 3, 2024 (Tuesday) to January 19, 2025 (Sunday). The actor Eihisa Shino has been chosen as an ambassador for this exhibition.

Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) was a painter who was active in Paris from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century. A representative figure of Art Nouveau, Mucha’s work became a symbol of sophistication, elegance, and modernism, inspiring artists around the world, and continues to fascinate people today.

This exhibition is the Japan setting of the “Eternel Mucha” immersive exhibition held in Paris in 2023, overseen by the Grand Palais Immersive in Paris and the Mucha Foundation. A new type of immersive experiential exhibition that presents Mucha’s life, paintings, and influence on future generations will be held from an academic point of view and various productions, focused on the immersive video that is the core of the exhibition, will finally take place for the first exhibition . time in Japan.

Shiono, who acts as an ambassador for this exhibition, will also appear on a special program for this exhibition that will be broadcast on TV Tokyo on Monday, October 14 (holiday). In addition, during the exhibition period, Shiono voice messages will be available exclusively at the exhibition venue.

Eihisa Shiono’s comment

Mucha is a very well known artist, and I think everyone has seen his work somewhere. I am honored to be appointed as an ambassador for this exhibition of Mucha, an artist that everyone knows.

In this exhibition, Mucha’s paintings are projected onto a large screen, giving you a very immersive feeling, as if you are entering the picture. You can see even the smallest details of the work, and it’s a lot of fun watching the smells play out too. I think this is an exhibition where you can truly experience the experience of immersing yourself in Mucha’s work. Even if you are familiar with Mucha but have never been to an exhibition, I want you to take this opportunity to see his work.

There will also be a voice message from me exclusive to the venue, so stay tuned.
