Several people died in a serious accident on the B87 near Eilenburg in northern Saxony. This was announced by a police spokeswoman. The Leipziger Volkszeitung (LVZ) and the “Bild” newspaper had previously reported. According to the police, there are also several injured. According to a dpa reporter, three badly damaged cars can be seen, and debris is lying on the road. A truck was also at the scene of the accident.
