Eintracht star Kolo Muani: “I want to win trophies” | free press

Kolo Muani is the newcomer at Eintracht Frankfurt this season. At the World Cup, he had the winning goal for France in the final on his feet. He does not rule out a change in the summer.

French World Cup star Randal Kolo Muani is not ruling out a farewell to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.

“I’m trying to focus on my club. We’re going to continue our performances and we’ll see in the summer. After that, I’ve always dreamed of playing in big clubs,” the France striker told sports newspaper L’Equipe.

Most recently, the “Bild” reported that the English record champions Manchester United should prepare an offer in the three-digit million range for Kolo Muani. The top club from the English Premiere League wants to offer 120 million euros. The vice world champion, who still has a contract in Frankfurt until 2027, has scored 16 goals in 35 competitive games for the Bundesliga club. Paris Saint-Germain should also be interested in the attacker.

“But it all exploded”

It all happened very quickly. “I thought it would take me some time to adjust, maybe a year. But it all exploded,” added the striker. The 24-year-old only switched from FC Nantes to Eintracht in the summer. He was initially not included in the French squad for the World Cup in Qatar, but then replaced the injured Christopher Nkunku from Leipzig. In the lost World Cup final against Argentina, Kolo Muani had a huge chance to score the winning goal shortly before the end.

“This final was a stage, because now I want this World Cup. I want to win trophies,” emphasized Kolo Muani. A lot has changed since the World Cup. The opponents would now defend against him in threes or fours. (dpa)
